Heart: From Field to Form
Join us for a relaxed, creative Art in the Lab drawing session exploring cardiac development — the remarkable journey from embryonic cell fields to the looping heart tube that will become a beating organ. During one very nice hour of short drawings, participants can sketch key stages of heart formation, including the cardiac crescent, linear heart tube, and early chamber patterning, using microscope images, schematic diagrams, and developmental illustrations as our visual guides. This session encourages both artistic practice and scientific curiosity, with time to observe, draw, and discuss how structure and function emerge together during development.
One short warm up, and five minute drawings. Why not spend an hour drawing from science.
